We will help you pick the floor plan that will work for your budget and lifestyle and make it simple for you to pick all of your interior features. From financing to the closing process, we are here for you every step of the way.
Before Breaking Ground
Prior to us actually starting the construction process we have a number of items that need to be completed. Once you have decided on what home you want to build and where, we have to purchase the lot and close on that process before we can break ground. We will walk you through the process of signing your sales agreement. Once your lot has been secured we will have you sit down with one of our staff members at our design center so you can pick all of the details that will go into personalizing your home. This can be something as simple as a door knob or faucet or something more major like flooring and carpeting.
Construction Process
This is an exciting time for everyone. This is when home builders in Wilmington NC can break ground and begin construction of your home. The first steps include digging the footprint of the home and having the foundation poured. From there we actually start constructing the home and before long we’ll be taking you on your electrical walk through which is when the framing is done but we haven’t started to put up drywall just yet.
The Last Month
About one month before you will be closing on your home, home builders in Wilmington NC will finish up all those little special touches that make this your home. Hardware, lighting and vanities are installed and we make sure everything is clean and ready for you to move in after you have closed on the house. Our staff will make sure everything is in order for financing and the closing process.
Once it is time to hand over the keys to you we will walk you through your new home and explain where everything is and how everything works. This is an exciting time because you get to see your home for the first time as a completed product and you’ll get to move in as soon as all of the paperwork is signed.
