Farming, ranching, construction, radio operator and machine maintenance. Dustin Aldridge has done it all – and done it well! Dustin is a native of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and grew up on a small farm working in tobacco and corn. He also worked on a neighbor’s farm raising Angus beef cattle and thinks that being a cattle farmer might just be the most idyllic job he could ever have. But fortunately for us, Dustin is just as handy with a hammer as he is with a hoe, as he worked construction with his dad all throughout high school and for several years after graduation.
In 2009, Dustin joined the Marine Corps, where he served as a radio operator, completed two tours in Afghanistan and received a Certificate of Commendation for setting up a Command Operations Center in a hostile area. Dustin refers to his stint in the Marine Corps as his “four years of college” and said if he hadn’t met his future wife when he did, he would have likely reenlisted. He said he experienced a level of comradery with his fellow Marines that is often hard to find and gained incredible experience in leadership, accountability and organization.
From 2012 to 2020, Dustin worked as Maintenance Supervisor for the Figure Eight Island Homeowners Association and then joined Logan Construction as Construction Superintendent in March 2020. Dustin joined Trusst Builder Group as Construction Manager in June 2021 and currently oversees new home construction in St. James Plantation and Winding River in Brunswick County.
Dustin is happily married to his wife Jennifer and they are expecting their first child in September 2021. When not working, Dustin loves to play golf, fish, perfect his grilling skills and root for the Kentucky Wildcats at any and every opportunity.
