Quality Assurance Manager
Harry Obser has an exacting eye for detail — an attribute that serves him well as Quality Assurance Manager for Trusst Builder Group.
A love of carpentry came early to Harry, as he grew up as a handyman’s helper to his father, a railroad engineer who taught him the importance of precision and quality. These characteristics still define Harry’s work ethic today. Following high school, Harry earned an associate degree in Fine Cabinetry at HB Ward Tech in Long Island, NY and worked a variety of construction jobs there until moving to North Carolina in 1993.
Harry eventually retired his tool belt and transitioned into retail management at Lowe’s and Home Depot and most recently at Storage Asset Management in Wilmington. At Home Depot, Harry managed the Plumbing, Appliance, Kitchen and Bath departments and coordinated all installs. At Lowes, Harry helped customer make their dream kitchens a reality as Lead Kitchen Designer.
With more than 20 years’ experience in retail management, Harry knows a thing or two about meeting – and exceeding — customer expectations. As Quality Assurance Manager for Trusst, Harry works as a liaison between customers and contractors to make sure each Trusst home is built to the exacting standards of both the homeowner and Trusst Builder Group.
When Harry’s not working, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, which includes three children, two cats and one wire-haired terrier. Harry fondly refers to Aaron, Ashlyn and Andrew as his “A-Team” and they enjoy time together outdoors, going fishing, enjoying the beach and boating around the waterway.
