Joy Gurley

Joy Gurley loves to play the piano. She’s been playing since age 8 and each Sunday, she drives an hour and half to her hometown of Kenansville, NC to play the piano at her hometown church of Wesley Chapel United Methodist. She’s filling in “temporarily” until they find a new pianist.

Joy brings this same type of commitment and generosity to her position as General Manager at Trusst Builder Group. She joined Trusst in 1992 to handle bookkeeping and her role has evolved considerably over the years. Today, she has an ownership interest in Trusst Builder Group, and as General Manager, she oversees operations and ensures all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Joy moved to Wilmington in 1985 as a transfer student to UNCW from Mt. Olive College in Kenansville. She graduated in 1988 with a BS in Business Management. Joy lives in Wilmington with her husband Scott and their daughter Jordan.
