Michael Groseclose knew from a young age that he wanted to work in construction. And his interest has never wavered. His work ethic and singular focus make him a standout on the Trusst team as Construction Manager. In this position, he oversees all aspects of a home’s construction, from start to finish.
Michael first joined Trusst in 2014 and left in 2017 to pursue an opportunity with a developer of 55+ new home communities in Richmond, VA. But Michael and his family missed the beach – and he missed the hustle and bustle of the home-building industry — so he happily rejoined Trusst when an opportunity became available in June 2020.
A native of Kinston, NC, Michael is an identical twin to his brother William and during their youth, both were known to perplex teachers and switch identities from time to time. William went on to become a police officer in Greenville, while Michael earned his Associates Degree in Construction Technology from Pitt Community College. He continued his education at East Carolina University and earned a BA in Construction Management in December 2012. No stranger to hard work, Michael worked his way through college as shift leader at a local Starbucks while maintaining a 3.7 GPA. Today, he is studying for his General Contractors exam and looks forward to earning his license in the near future.
When he isn’t working, Michael enjoys weekly beach outings with his wife Megan, their young daughter Naomi and their two rescue dogs, Jack and Levi. He is also a regular competitor in long-distance running and has even participated in a number of Muddy Buddy adventure races that combine biking, running . . . and mud pits.
